SALUTE THE TROOPS

At this point it seems totally reasonable to think of Katy Perry’s breasts as a totally separate entity since they seem to get as much press on their own as does Perry with her musical career. But lately they’ve been causing a bit of controversy. First, Perry’s skit was pulled from Sesame Street for displaying too much cleavage and now Perry’s image as a pin-up girl for VH1’s annual “Divas Salute The Troops” concert sees her looking way less curvy.



The part that doesn’t mean sense is that the poster (pictured above)—which also features Nicki Minaj, Hayley Williams of Paramore, Grace Potter of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Keri Hilson and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland—sees some of the other pin-up girls (cough, Hilson) prominently displaying their goods. So it doesn’t really make sense why they’d shrink Perry’s assets down unless they didn’t realistically think she’d be able to fit into that parachute harness. Either way, these soldiers are going to be stoked when they see Perry in person.
