Day One of Coachella had its highs (simultaneous killer sets from Cut Copy and The Black Keys), its lows ( a disastrous set from Cee-Lo Green) and its moments caught somewhere in the middle (Lauryn Hill’s still-work-in-progress-of-a-comeback). But there was a constant. It was hot. Very hot. We’re talking boiler-plate hot. But when we weren’t stuffing our face in crushed icy lemonade, we caught a slew of good live music. Here’s some of the most “memorable” aspects of Day One at Coachella.
