Another 'Spider' bite: The beleaguered Broadway trials for "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" suffered another casualty as T. V. Carpio, who stepped in to replace another actress injured in the production, was injured March 16 during a battle scene. Playing Arachne, a spider woman and key villainess in the narrative, Carpio was taking on one of the show's major roles in the complex, stunt-heavy production; she had moved up from a lesser role after predecessor Natalie Mendoza suffered a concussion after being hit backstage by a falling rope.
